Boston Chops: South End flips the steak house concept on its end with an urban steak bistro appropriate for its South End location. The space juxtaposes masculine and feminine elements to achieve a sexy meat-centric experience. Materials include blackened steel, polished chrome, slate tile, reclaimed oak, chocolate leather, red snakeskin, and butcher block. The 40-foot bar runs the length of the space and highlights the existing exposed brick wall. The dining room is divided into a number of smaller spaces to accommodate a variety of party sizes and private events.
