The Sinclair transforms the lower floors of a 1970’s office building into a 525-person music venue and 150-seat restaurant. Working with the New York-based Bowery Presents, the tyak team embraced the rawness of the existing concrete structure and paired it with a concept built around the transience of the American musician. In the venue, the space transports showgoers to an abandoned subway platform with multiple levels to create the best sight lines in the city. The raw space of the restaurant is paired with industrial materials and curated pieces of Americana and music history to create a cool, laid-back dining experience.
